Insurance Property Surveys Limited (IPS) provide advice to Property Investors, Landlords and Tenants on the amount of cover required for reinstatement of commercial, retail, industrial and residential premises in the event of total destruction by fire or other insured perils.

The business premises should be insured for the full rebuilding cost (including professional fees and the cost of site clearance) and not for the market value, which will differ significantly.

Whilst most modern insurance policies will index link the initial valuation,it presents best practice to re-value your property at least every 3 years, if not annually. IPS will assist in this respect.
